AKG Connect 2026: Celebrating Our People, Culture and Collaboration
On the 15th of January, we had the pleasure of attending the second AKG Connect event, a key moment in our calendar where colleagues from across the AKG group come together to connect, reflect, and celebrate. This year, we welcomed over 400 colleagues from our four organisations under one roof, creating a powerful space for collaboration, laughter, and shared pride in our collective achievements throughout 2025.
AKG Connect 2026 was a true celebration of our people. The day featured well-deserved awards recognising individual and team successes, great food, plenty of selfies, and a series of Taskmaster-style team-building activities that brought energy, humour, and friendly competition into the room. These moments reinforced just how strong we are when we come together.
We know not everyone was able to attend in person, and you were very much missed. Your contributions throughout the year remain just as valued, and events like Connect are a reflection of the collective effort of colleagues across all locations and roles.
As our second Connect event, this gathering highlighted how our work culture has continued to grow and strengthen since the first Connect event in 2023, reflecting deeper collaboration, stronger connections, and a shared sense of purpose across AKG UK.
