Our Christmas Open Day in Portsmouth
As we wrap up 2025, we’d like to celebrate a year of community impact, collaboration and growth for the Ambition Portsmouth and ITS teams. A memorable highlight was the annual ITS Christmas Open Day, bringing together service users, learners, partners and commissioners to celebrate connection, achievement and the strong community we continue to build.
Bringing festive fun to the Hub!
On Monday 16th December, the ITS team once again opened their doors for the annual Christmas Open Day, welcoming service users, learners, partnership colleagues and commissioners to come together and celebrate the festive season.
The hub was filled with Christmas spirit throughout the day with a festive quiz, a best Christmas outfit competition and a generous buffet lunch. Mince pies were available throughout the day, with Christmas music playing from morning to afternoon, bringing with it plenty of smiles and some glorious singing too.
Alongside the celebrations, the team were mindful that this time of year can be challenging for some. One to one support was available throughout the day, offering anyone who needed it the opportunity to sit down for a chat in a safe and supportive environment.
The event also provided a chance to recognise the fantastic contribution of our Ambassadors, who continue to support ITS in so many ways throughout the year. A small gift was presented to a couple of Ambassadors as a token of appreciation, including Lizzie, who comes in every week without fail to clean the Ambition Portsmouth hub from top to bottom. Her dedication is a wonderful example of the support our Ambassadors provide.
In total, over 50 people attended on the day, making it a record number of attendees for the hub and highlighting the strong sense of community that Ambition Portsmouth and ITS continue to build.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make the day such a success. It was a truly lovely way to bring people together and end the year on a positive and festive note.
